Electrical Project Engineer

Duties and responsibilities :

1. Supervise and manage execution of electrical works at site (Power, Lighting, ELV, Fire Alarm, Low Current systems).

2. Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs before execution.

3. Prepare and submit material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.

4. Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and Architectural teams for smooth MEP integration.

5. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations such as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Civil Defense, and other relevant authorities.

6. Monitor site progress and ensure work completion as per project schedule.

7. Manage subcontractors and supervise site manpower.

8. Conduct inspections and ensure quality control standards are maintained.

9. Attend coordination meetings with consultants and clients.

10. Support testing & commissioning of electrical systems.

11. Ensure implementation of HSE standards at site.

12. Track material delivery and ensure proper usage at site.

13. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

14. Assist in final project handover and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in electrical works within building construction projects.
• Good understanding of local authority regulations such as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai Civil Defence.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs.
• Experience in material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
• Strong knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures.
• Good project coordination and team management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).

• High Rise Projects : 5 years (Preferred)
