Electrical Project Engineer

Job Summary

Gulf Falcon Contracting Co. is seeking a highly competent and experienced Electrical Project Engineer with 7–10 years of proven experience in construction and MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of electrical works to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all electrical installation activities at site.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and track material submittals and procurement schedules.
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar construction regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections and testing prior to consultant/client approvals.
• Assist in preparation of interim payment certificates related to electrical works.
• Support tendering team with technical inputs when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (LV, MV, lighting, power, fire alarm, etc.).
• Experience in handling consultants and authority approvals in Qatar.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Valid QID with transferable visa preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects.
• Knowledge of Kahramaa regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple project interfaces efficiently.
