Electrical Service Technician

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components in commercial and industrial environments.
• Utilize testing instruments such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and schematic updates.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Assist with low voltage wiring projects and troubleshoot complex electrical systems involving schematics or control panels.

Experience

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and low/high voltage systems.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safe electrical installations.
• Skilled in using testing instruments such as ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical issues.
• Strong background in blueprint reading and interpreting technical diagrams for accurate installation or repair work.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
