Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician with 4+ years of hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment across commercial or industrial facilities, while strictly adhering to all safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Quickly identify electrical faults and carry out effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to support ongoing activities and projects.
• Ensure all electrical work meets local regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections, and repair work.
• Provide timely support during emergency breakdowns or electrical failures.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 4+ years of proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, controls, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Practical experience with electrical testing, measuring, and diagnostic tools.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Qatar’s electrical standards and regulations is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be currently in Qatar with a valid visa and QID.
