Electrical Technician

Electrical Technician Job description:-

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components (wiring, fixtures, appliances).
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections, Corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and ensure compliance with safety codes.
• Prepare accurate technical reports and documentation of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on system upgrades or new installations.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify the failures or to record the readings.

Electronics Technician Job description:-

• Diagnose faults in electronic circuits, PCBs, and power supplies.

• Repair and calibrate switching mode power supplies (SMPS), linear supplies, AC/DC and DC/DC converters.

• Replace damaged components such as ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, regulators, transformers, drivers, and microcontrollers (as applicable).

• Perform soldering, rework, and SMD/BGA component replacement using hot air stations and rework stations.

• Test power boards under load using electronic load and suitable test tools.

• Inspect and test modules for short circuits, burn damage, and component failure.

• Follow proper ESD protection while handling sensitive electronic components.

• Maintain repair logs, component usage, and test records.

• Report recurring faults and recommend design or component improvements.
