Electrician – Cable Industry

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrician with strong knowledge of the cable manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and machinery used in cable production.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery used in cable manufacturing.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on cable production machines (e.g., extrusion lines, stranding machines, cabling machines, rewinding units).
• Diagnose electrical issues related to motors, control panels, drives (VFDs), PLC systems, and sensors.
• Inspect and test electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, switchgears, and control systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and machine manuals specific to cable production lines.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and Saudi regulations.
• Support production teams in reducing downtime and improving machine efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and electrical repairs.
• Assist in machine modifications, upgrades, and installation of new production lines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience working in the cable manufacturing industry (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, control circuits, and high-voltage/low-voltage equipment.
• Experience with cable production machinery and associated electrical components.
• Knowledge of PLC, VFDs, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial automation (preferred).
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia electrical codes and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read technical drawings and machine schematics.
• Transferable Iqama preferred.
