Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineers with proven ADNOC Offshore experience to execute testing, commissioning, and start-up activities for electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting motor solo run testing, load transfer operations, electrical functional checks, and ensuring the safe and efficient commissioning of electrical installations in compliance with ADNOC standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and commissioning activities for offshore facilities and electrical systems.
• Conduct motor solo run testing and verify motor performance, rotation, vibration, temperature, and operational parameters.
• Execute load transfer operations between power sources, generators, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Carry out electrical functional checks for equipment, control systems, interlocks, alarms, and protection schemes.
• Verify proper operation of electrical equipment, including motors, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, generators, and control panels.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cause-and-effect charts, and commissioning procedures.
• Ensure commissioning activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, ADNOC standards, and project specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide technical solutions during commissioning and start-up phases.
• Coordinate with operations, construction, instrumentation, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare commissioning reports, test records, punch lists, and completion dossiers.
• Participate in system energization, start-up, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with permit-to-work requirements and offshore safety procedures.

Preferred Experience

• ADNOC Offshore commissioning and start-up projects.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, offshore platforms, and processing facilities.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, ADNOC, and international electrical standards.
• Experience working with generators, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and power distribution networks.

HSE Requirements

• Strict compliance with ADNOC Offshore HSE policies, procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in toolbox talks prior to commissioning activities.
• Ensure all testing and energization activities are performed safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
