Job Overview
Zenith Aerotech is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Electrical /Electronics Technician to join our team developing advanced tethered drone systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and safety of systems, supporting our commitment to operational excellence.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the seamless functioning of complex electrical and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical and electronic equipment using hand tools and diagnostic instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies..
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately; perform repairs as needed.
  • Assemble electrical and electronic systems, including components, subassemblies, wiring harnesses, and enclosures.
  • Perform PCB assembly and precision soldering in accordance with quality standards and Route and connect wiring to printed circuit boards, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Support engineering test activities and system-level integration efforts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, test results, and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and best practices throughout production and testing

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in electronics assembly, soldering, or manufacturing/production environments
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Proficiency with hand tools, schematics, diagnostic instruments and basic electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to working with electrical systems and high/low voltage environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on UAS/drone systems or similar platforms
  • Experience with PCB design,assembly, rework, and repair
  • Familiarity with wiring harness assembly and integration
