Explosive Proof Electrical Technician - *Comp Ex Certification is required*

Responsibilities :

▪ Ensure compliance with HSE and operational safety standards.

▪ Follow permit-to-work systems and coordinate with supervisors for task execution.

▪ Work strictly in accordance with explosion-proof electrical safety standards and regulations.

▪ Repair knowledge of Ex-motor and equipment.

▪ Repair or replace defective and/or worn parts and components.

▪ Awareness of Ex HVAC

▪ Carry out electric equipment installation, cable laying and connection, and the installation and wiring of electrical instruments as per control panel drawings.

▪ Interpret E&I drawings, and specifications accurately.

▪ Conduct visual checks and inspections to ensure quality standards are met for ATEX/IECEx equipment

▪ Knowledge of inspection and calibration for Ex Thermostats, Pressure Switches, PG, EVR, etc.

▪ Familiarity with Ex hand tools, power tools, and electric measuring instruments.

Desired Qualifications / Experience Required:

▪ 5- 10 Years of working experience in Ex equipment servicing and maintenance.

▪ Qualifications such as Ex01-Ex04

▪ Current COMPEX or IECEx certification.

▪ Familiar with IEC60079:0, IEC60079:10.1, IEC60079:14 and IEC60079:17.

▪ Working experience with ATEX & IECEx standards.

▪ Strong awareness of hazardous area requirements.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
