Job Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for maintaining all electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures within the corporate office to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. The role includes handling electrical maintenance, managing power outages (including coordination with LESCO), and performing minor plumbing and facility-related tasks. The ideal candidate should be proactive, technically skilled, and capable of troubleshooting both electrical and basic plumbing issues in a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical Maintenance & Repair:

Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and appliances in the office.

Diagnose electrical faults and take corrective measures promptly.

Replace or repair lights, switches, sockets, fuses, and other components as needed.

Ensure all electrical work complies with company policies and safety standards.
2. Power Supply & LESCO Coordination:

Monitor and maintain uninterrupted power supply across the premises.

Handle issues related to power fluctuations or outages.

Communicate with
LESCO
for complaint registration, meter issues, and power restoration.

Maintain a log of all LESCO-related communications and issues.
-
Support in monitoring and operating UPS, generators, and backup systems during power outages.
3. Preventive & Routine Maintenance:

Conduct regular inspections of wiring, panels, and electrical equipment to prevent malfunctions.

Maintain proper records of repairs and maintenance activities.
-
Identify and recommend energy-saving measures where applicable.
4. Plumbing & Facility Support:

Perform minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, changing taps, and maintaining washroom fittings.

Support the admin team in maintaining the overall functionality of the office building.

Assist with minor facility maintenance and handyman work as required.
5. Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all electrical and plumbing work adheres to safety standards and local regulations.

Take immediate action to resolve any potential hazards.

Support in fire safety checks and ensure all equipment is electrically safe.
6. Office & Event Support:

Assist with electrical setup during office events or new installations.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs or maintenance work.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Technology or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a corporate or commercial setting.

Certifications:
Valid electrical license (where applicable).

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and troubleshooting.

LESCO complaint procedures
