Electrician

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems used in wastewater treatment and hazardous liquid waste facilities. The Electrician will ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of all electrical components across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, panels, lighting, sensors, and plant electrical systems.

• Troubleshooting & Repair:

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in control panels, MCCs, VFDs, PLC-connected equipment, and instrumentation.

• Installation & Upgrades:

Install wiring, conduits, electrical devices, and equipment for wastewater and hazardous waste operations.

• Safety Compliance:

Follow electrical safety standards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and hazardous area requirements.
Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and environmental regulations.

• System Monitoring:

Support plant operations by monitoring electrical performance and reporting equipment issues.

• Documentation:

Maintain logs of electrical work, inspections, and repairs.
Assist in updating electrical drawings and equipment records.

• Support for Projects:

Assist engineers and supervisors with electrical upgrades, new equipment installation, and system improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Technical Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Technology or Industrial Electricity.
• Experience:
• years’ experience as an industrial electrician (wastewater or hazardous waste industry preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of motors, MCCs, VFDs, control circuits, electrical panels, and industrial wiring.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Familiarity with hazardous area classification and safe work practices.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
