Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems (lighting, distribution panels, motor drives, control systems) to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in wiring, circuits, control systems, and machinery.
• Install new electrical wiring, panels, circuit breakers, conduits, and other infrastructure for equipment additions or expansions.
• Maintain and repair lighting systems (warehouse lighting, emergency lights), power outlets, and power distribution boards.
• Work on motor systems: repair or replace motors, starters, variable frequency drives (VFD), sensors, and control panels.
• Inspect, test, and certify wiring, electrical systems, and components per local electrical codes / safety standards.
• Respond to electrical emergencies (power failures, short circuits) and provide quick resolution.
• Collaborate with other maintenance teams (mechanical, HVAC) to coordinate work, particularly when upgrading or installing integrated systems.
• Maintain documentation: work orders, maintenance logs, risk assessments, inspection records, and electrical schematics.
• Ensure all work is done in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., lock-out/tag-out, PPE usage).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase energy efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize system performance.
• Assist with audits, safety inspections, and regulatory compliance related to the warehouse’s electrical infrastructure.
• Train or mentor junior electricians or maintenance staff, where applicable.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
