Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team at FredShaw and Co Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, fans and air handling units across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in industrial environments.

Must have

NVQ level 3

JIB grade electrician

BS7671 2018 wiring requlations and a current up to date cscs card

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Diagnose electrical faults using specialised tools and equipment, then perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute projects accurately.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Skills
• Experience operating power tools relevant to electrical installation and repair tasks.
• Extensive electrical experience with a solid understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Have good customer relations.
• Ability to order materials for upcoming jobs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22.00 per hour
