Electrician – Remedial Works Engineer

Quantec, one of the UK's leading electrical compliance companies, is looking to recruit experienced electricians to join our growing remedial works division.

We are seeking reliable and experienced electricians to undertake remedial electrical works across Kent, Surrey and surrounding areas, carrying out works identified following electrical inspection and testing projects for a wide range of commercial and industrial clients.

We are open to both:

• Employed positions
• Self-employed / subcontract electricians

Competitive rates/packages available depending on experience and working arrangement.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Carrying out remedial electrical works following completed EICRs
• Fault finding and diagnosis of electrical issues
• Installation and replacement of electrical equipment and accessories
• Small works and maintenance projects
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintaining excellent communication with clients and the Quantec team

Works are primarily across Kent, Surrey and surrounding areas, with occasional travel where required.

Requirements

Essential:

• Fully qualified electrician
• Proven electrical installation experience
• Experience undertaking remedial works and fault finding
• Good knowledge of commercial electrical installations
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
• ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Experience working within commercial and industrial environments
