Electrician (ELV)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician (ELV) to install, test, commission, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security, communication, and building automation systems and will ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV, access control, intercom, data/structured cabling, public address systems, and fire alarm interfaces
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on ELV systems
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and project specifications
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades to complete tasks on schedule
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system configurations
• Support system commissioning and handover activities

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician with ELV systems (CCTV, access control, structured cabling, etc.)
• Technical diploma or ITI certification in Electrical/Electronics or related field
• Strong understanding of ELV systems and low-voltage wiring practices
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety standards and site procedures
• Physically fit and able to work in construction/site environments
• Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Valid UAE Driving License
