We are hiring Electricians for one of our prestigious Facilities Management projects at ISF. This is a 2-month contract role, extendable based on performance and project requirements, offering an excellent opportunity to work on a well-established site with professional FM operations.

Reports To: Electrical Supervisor / Maintenance Engineer / Project Manager
Job Purpose
The Electrician is responsible for carrying out safe, reliable, and efficient electrical maintenance works at the ISF project site. This includes troubleshooting, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), corrective maintenance (CM), testing, and installation activities, ensuring compliance with approved standards, procedures, and safety regulations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Troubleshooting & Fault Finding
- Perform systematic troubleshooting of electrical faults such as tripped MCB/RCCB, faulty lighting circuits, socket outlets, motors not starting, and control circuit failures.
- Use electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams to diagnose faults accurately.
- Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure electrical protection devices are not bypassed or tampered with.
- Communicate findings and actions clearly to supervisors and end users.
2. Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
- Carry out PPM activities on electrical assets including DBs, panels, MCCs, lighting systems, power distribution systems, VFDs, UPS, CBS, Busbars, and LV panels.
- Follow approved PPM schedules and checklists.
- Perform visual inspections, cleaning, tightening, and torque checks.
- Record readings, observations, and abnormalities accurately.
- Report defects, risks, or deviations immediately.
3. Corrective Maintenance (CM)
- Execute corrective maintenance works such as replacement of faulty light fittings, switches, sockets, MCBs, and accessories.
- Ensure proper electrical isolation, LOTO procedures, and safe work practices.
- Use correct spare parts and materials as per specifications.
- Conduct testing after repair and restore systems safely.
- Complete proper handover and update maintenance records.
4. Tools & Measuring Instruments
- Select and use appropriate tools and test instruments for electrical tasks.
- Operate multimeters, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers (Megger), battery analyzers, and thermal imaging cameras correctly.
- Ensure instruments are within valid calibration periods.
- Handle, store, and maintain tools safely.
5. Electrical System Knowledge
- Identify and understand electrical components such as MCB, MCCB, RCCB, ACB, contactors, relays, timers, capacitors, busbars, and earthing systems.
- Differentiate between power wiring and control wiring.
6. Material & Spare Parts Management
- Raise material and spare part requests with complete and accurate specifications.
- Ensure correct ratings, make, and type of materials for replacement or new installations.
- Support supervisors with load calculations and technical details when required.
7. Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping
- Follow all site safety rules, permit-to-work systems, and LOTO procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain good housekeeping at work areas.
- Report incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum relevant experience as per project or contract requirements.
- Experience in Facilities Management or site maintenance is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong safety awareness.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Performance Indicators
- Quality and accuracy of electrical maintenance work.
- Compliance with safety and procedural requirements.
- Timely completion of PPM and CM activities.
- Proper documentation and reporting.
- Reduction in repeat faults and safety incidents.
