Electrician - Fit-out

The Electrician is responsible for working on electrical equipment in our office spaces, both existing and under construction, to install, repair and maintain power, lighting, communications, and control systems. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals, with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate will produce and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and maximize usability of electricity in all facilities.

• Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Inspecting MDB, SMDB, ESMDB, ELCB, RCCB, Panels, stand-by Generator, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, equipment for alarm and safety, and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.).
• Connecting wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components.
• Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Performing general electrical maintenance.
• Preventing breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
• Performing effective troubleshooting using appropriate testing devices to identify hazards or malfunctions, and repair or substitute damaged units.
• Following the National Electrical Code, and local building regulations.
• Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, repairs, and modifications carried out.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management or project supervisors.
