Electronics Department Supervisor – PCB Assembly & Soldering

Company Overview

We are a established electronics manufacturing company specializing in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and electronic product manufacturing. We are looking for an experienced Electronics Department Supervisor to lead and manage our PCB soldering and assembly team.

Job Summary

The Electronics Department Supervisor will be responsible for supervising 15–20 technicians and assemblers engaged in PCB soldering, assembly, inspection, and rework. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of 15–20 electronics technicians and assemblers
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily PCB soldering and assembly work
• Ensure correct soldering practices (through-hole, SMD, rework, and repairs)
• Maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with IPC or internal quality standards
• Troubleshoot assembly, soldering, and component-related issues
• Train staff on proper soldering techniques, ESD handling, and safety procedures
• Monitor productivity, workflow efficiency, and meet production targets
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and procurement departments
• Maintain documentation, production records, and quality reports
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, soldering stations, and equipment
• Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping, and ESD controls

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics / Electrical or related field
• 2+ years experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly
• 1+ years experience in a supervisory or team-lead role
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
• PCB assembly and soldering (SMD & through-hole)
• Reading schematics and BOMs
• Testing, inspection, and rework techniques
