Are you a skilled Embedded Hardware / Software Engineer with expertise in PCB design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems? If yes, then you are the one we are looking for!
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit design, hardware integration, and embedded technologies for applications such as robotics, defense systems, ARHMD, and GNSS based GPS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop electronic and embedded hardware systems, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Select and integrate microcontrollers (ARM7, STM32F745) and electronic components.
- Develop hardware architectures for Enhanced Situational Awareness Systems (ESAS), Augmented Reality Head Mounted Displays (ARHMD), and GNSS based heading systems.
- Conduct circuit simulations and testing using SPICE and other analysis tools.
- Design and implement power-efficient and thermally optimized embedded hardware solutions.
- Work with communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, TCP, UDP, RS232, USB, and Ethernet.
- Collaborate with embedded software engineers for seamless hardware software integration.
- Troubleshoot hardware failures and optimize performance using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Contribute to the development of robotics, IGLA & ZU gun systems, and thermal imaging sight outputs.
- Design and integrate power electronic circuits, including AC-DC converters and motor drivers, ensuring efficient power management.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics or Electrical or Communication Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in embedded hardware / software design and PCB design.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or automotive industries.
- Hands on experience with GNSS based positioning systems and kinematics-based GPS.
- Strong understanding of thermal imaging (TI) sight outputs and sensor integrations.
- Knowledge of augmented reality (AR) hardware systems.
Technical Skills:
- PCB Design Tools: Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle.
- Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, PIC, AVR) and embedded software development.
- Microcontrollers & Processors: ARM7, STM32F745.
- Embedded Communication Interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, USB, Ethernet.
- Testing & Debugging Tools: Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Mustimeter, JTAG.
- Simulation & Circuit Analysis: SPICE, MATLAB, LTspice.
- Hardware Development Platforms: FPGA, DSP, SoCs.
- Operating Environments: Linux, Windows, VxWorks.
- Networking Protocols: TCP, UDP.
- Programming skills in languages like C, C++, and Python for developing and integrating firmware.
- Knowledge of standard communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) for seamless data exchange between subsystems.
