Description:

Build and evaluate new project samples prior to production release. Includes building established production parts as needed, prototype construction and documentation. Works closely with Engineering staff to ensure correct sample construction and documentation. No Staffing Firms, please

Physical Elements Required

o Good finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination, ability to work with MS Office

o Must have 20/20 vision with eye correction, no color blindness

o Must be able to wear latex or nitrile gloves without sensitivity/allergy issues

o Ability to move from work station to other areas of the plant as needed

o Ability to grasp, operate or use various machines, power tools, fixtures, presses, hand tools, test equipment, microscopes, measurement devices, and/or other equipment as required

o Provide accurate and legible record keeping and documentation

o Regular and timely attendance is required

Mental Elements Required

o Attention to detail, reasoning, organization and planning capabilities

o Must be able to perform the requirements of the position while handling stress (deadlines, problem solving, teamwork, basic math...)

o Strong written and oral communication (English) skills with others

o Follow instructions from engineers, managers to assemble prints as necessary to manufacture, test and inspect products

o Expectation of organizing work, taking initiative and following time efficiency

o Ability to work safely at all times

o Able to work respectfully with other departments and teams

This position is subject to the ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and/or the EAR (Export Administration Regulations). Candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person according to U.S. Federal law.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
