POSTION SUMMARY:
The Precision Assembly Technician supports manufacturing operations by assembling delicate semiconductor components in our Wafer Lab. This work requires excellent attention to detail and fine motor skills to handle small, fragile parts using specialized tools and detailed work instructions. The technician plays an important role in producing high-quality components while contributing to a safe, organized, and team-oriented manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble delicate thermocouple components following detailed work instructions
- Perform thermocouple junctioning using a TIG welder
- Work with small, fragile wire gauges (30–40 AWG) and precision components
- Prepare subcomponents such as jacks, mini plugs, ceramic insulators, and tubes
- Measure materials accurately using rulers and metric/standard measurements
- Test probes to verify quality and functionality
- Prepare packaging materials and support order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and assist with weekly cleaning
- Collaborate with production team members to meet manufacturing goals
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Strong attention to detail and fine motor skills for handling small parts
- Ability to follow written work instructions and production procedures
- Comfortable using measuring tools and working with inches and millimeters
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and move materials within the production area
- Experience assembling thermocouples or similar small components including detailed handwork such as jewelry making, nail technology, crafting, or electronics assembly

Hours: Standard operating hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, M-F with voluntary overtime frequently available.
Pay Range: $17-20 based on technical skills and experience.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
