Job Title: Elementary or Middle School Math and/or English Tutor
Position Type: Part-Time, Year-Round (In-Person)
Location: Hilliard, OH

Overview:
We are seeking Math and/or English Tutors to work with elementary and middle school students in a small-group, in-person setting. All curriculum, lesson plans, and materials are provided. This is a year-round, part-time position with a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate small-group tutoring sessions in Math and/or English
• Deliver instruction using provided curriculum and materials
• Explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to individual learning needs
• Support homework completion and reinforce classroom learning
• Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Foster a positive, structured learning environment
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, English, or related field
• Experience tutoring or teaching Math and/or English
• Teaching license (completed or in progress) Required
• Substitute or retired teaching experience Preferred
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
• Patient and adaptable teaching style

Work Schedule:

• Monday and Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• If any of the listed days or times are not feasible, availability may be discussed.
• Please note that work hours are subject to change during the summer.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
