- The elementary school teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated instruction that is aligned to the curriculum and learning standards. The elementary school teacher establishes a culture for learning within the classroom, ensuring that students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The elementary school teacher maintains regular communication with parent(s)/guardian(s) with regard to the instructional program and student progress. Multiple positions are available for the 2025-2026 school year.

- Current and valid Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsements in elementary education and/or self-contained general education (K-5);
- Foundational knowledge of Google Classroom applications and the ability to incorporate technology as a means of enhancing instruction;
- Individual must be flexible,creative and child centered;
- Ability to assess the learning of students and modify or enhance instruction as needed;
- Ability to analyze various forms of data and use the information to make instructional decisions;
- Knowledge of learning styles and skill in using standards-based varied teaching methods to address student learning styles;
- Strong knowledge of state learning standards and instructional best practices in literacy and mathematics;
- Able to work with a diverse student population and establish open and regular communication with parents and guardians.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
- Starting salary of $49,029; (Please click the link to view the current (salary schedule);
- Salary is commensurate with education and experience;
- Qualified candidates may be granted up to twenty years of verified full-time teaching experience for credit on the salary schedule;
