What you’ll do

• Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management techniques.
• Utilize innovative learning technology to enhance educational experiences and promote student engagement.
• Mentor students, providing guidance and support to help them navigate their academic journey.
• Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to monitor student progress and adapt instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and special education staff to support students with unique needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
• Teach physical education, literacy, math, and other core subjects while integrating early childhood education principles.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for elementary education.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or early intervention strategies.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
• Background in tutoring or providing library services for young readers.
