Early Childhood Educator (Preschool Teacher)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to help them develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the emergent and play based school curriculum

-Work collaboratively in a teaching team
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Monitor and assess student progress, including completing conference forms
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support student development including weekly newsletters, parent communication via our app, etc.
- Organize activities that promote physical, social, and cognitive development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and development

-Incorporate Jewish curriculum (being Jewish is not a requirement, but a willingness to learn and we can help guide through each element.)

Qualifications
- All ECC Units awarded or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong understanding of child development theories and current best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques
