Elevator Project Manager

Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Elevator Project Manager will lead and oversee all elevator, escalator, and related projects from planning through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards, while providing an exceptional client experience in line with the company’s premium brand reputation. The role also requires strong experience in contracts, collections, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution:

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for new installations, modernizations …
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, technical support, installation, service) and external contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and industry standards.

2. Contract & Collection Management:

  • Review, negotiate, and manage project contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are clearly understood and met by all parties.
  • Handle change orders, claims, and contract documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor project invoicing and follow up on collections to ensure timely payments.

3. Project Monitoring & Quality Control:

  • Supervise project execution, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company quality standards.
  • Track progress, budgets, and resource allocation; identify risks and implement corrective actions proactively.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure all technical and safety requirements are met.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide timely updates, manage expectations, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

5. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and motivate project teams, including engineers, installation staff, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, briefings, and performance reviews.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence within the team.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, technical drawings, change orders, and inspection reports.
  • Provide regular status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in elevator/escalator project management with a branded or premium company.
  • Strong knowledge of project contracts, collections, and compliance.
  • In-depth understanding of elevator systems, installation procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Strong project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR16,000.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month
