The Elevator Sales Executive is responsible for generating business and driving revenue through the sale of elevator solutions, including new installations, maintenance contracts, modernization, and components. The role involves identifying prospective clients, understanding technical and commercial requirements, presenting customized lift solutions, negotiating contracts, and achieving assigned sales targets. This position requires a strong blend of sales expertise, technical understanding, and relationship management within the construction and building services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers, builders, contractors, architects, and consultants.

· Generate leads through networking, market research, referrals, cold calls, and participation in industry events.

  • Sales & Technical Presentations

· Conduct site visits and surveys to assess client requirements and project feasibility.

· Understand customer needs and present suitable elevator solutions, including passenger lifts, goods lifts, hospital lifts, modernization options, and components.

· Prepare and submit detailed techno-commercial proposals and quotations.

  • Negotiation & Deal Closure

· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts in line with company policies.

· Close deals while meeting or exceeding assigned sales KPIs and revenue targets.

  • Customer Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.

  • Technical Understanding

· Bridge technical and commercial aspects by understanding elevator systems, safety standards, and statutory/regulatory requirements.

· Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to ensure solutions meet customer and compliance needs.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

· Work closely with installation, service, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and timely project completion.

  • Reporting & Documentation

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

· Track leads, opportunities, order status, and performance using CRM systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience

· Minimum 2 years of proven experience in lift/elevator sales (new installations, AMC, modernization, or components is mandatory).

  • Skills

· Strong sales, negotiation, and business development capabilities.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Industry & Technical Knowledge

· Sound understanding of elevator systems, construction practices, and safety standards.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is an added advantage.

  • Computer Skills

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Experience using CRM or sales management tools is preferred.

  • Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Role Variations

· Sales Engineer: Greater focus on technical assessments, site surveys, and solution design.

· Maintenance & Repair Sales Executive: Focus on AMC renewals, service contracts, and repair sales.

· Component Sales Executive: Specialization in elevator kits, spares, and accessories.Job Overview
