Elevator Technician

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and related systems. The role ensures all lifting equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair elevators and escalators
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
• Test safety systems and ensure compliance with regulations
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls
• Replace or repair faulty components and equipment
• Maintain service records and inspection reports
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards
• Coordinate with supervisors and building management teams

Requirements

• Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Elevator Technology
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Elevator Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of elevator systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lifts/escalators
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals
• Knowledge of safety regulations and lifting equipment standards
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work on-call or emergency shifts when required
• Valid driving license is an advantage (depending on company requirements)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
