Sr. Technician – Installation (Elevators)

• Responsible to conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) prior to start of work at all the Projects.
• Conducts TBTs, activity specific to technicians under their control
• Know all the hazards associated with work and responsible for the safety guidance of the team mates.
• Ensure safety measures during work & assist the installers in case of required details in installation.
• Monitor to maintain good housekeeping at all the work areas.
• Follow Permits to Works, Safe work instructions & ensure using relevant PPE at all times.
• Report any accident / incident / near-miss to the concern engineer / supervisor / safety representative.
• Participate in Quality & Safety training sessions; Highlight any required improvement in safety procedures to enhance safety culture.
• Read and interpret shop drawings to determine the layout of system components.
• Connect electrical wiring to control panels & assist technicians to ensure Safety of person / equipment’s when dealing with electric connections.
• Responsible for Installation of the equipment within the stipulated time frame.
• Can able to increase the efficiency of the project (both in man-hours & cost)
• Filling of time sheets & ensure all time lines for each activity are met.
• Participate in additional training to keep skills up-to-date
• Filling of Quality check lists as deemed necessary for all the activities during installation.
