Ellucian Banner Application Administration Services (Bilingual)

Responsibilities:

Perform all Ellucian Banner application administration task. o Perform Install, configure, upgrade, patch of Ellucian Banner application.

Monitor Ellucian Banner application and Oracle Database performance and tune. o Perform Ellucian Banner Upgrade from R8.x to R9.x and (latest release).

Perform clone, backup, and recovery of Banner Application and database. o

Install, configure, compile of banner jobs (Perl, C Programs, COBOL and Java).

Configure Load balancing and set up Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate with all Ellucian banner applications. o Integrate banner application with third party application (blackboard, CRM Advise, Digital measure, Qatar Post and MOTC). o Installation and configuration of Ethos Identity. o Perform general troubleshooting and health check of Oracle core databases and Ellucian Banner applications.

Perform Ellucian Banner (ERP) administration user management, request groups, forms registration, printer setup, mail setup, custom applications registration, auditing, configuring jobs). Install, patch, and maintain the administration of Ellucian Banner

Implement Ellucian Banner application and database disaster recovery on Azure and onpremises.

Configure and monitor Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) backup.

Install, configure, and maintain the administration of Oracle multi-node Real Application Clusters (RAC) on Linux servers.

Configure Oracle Data-guard/Stand by in Oracle RAC environment. o Monitor database and application on Linux Operating Systems.

Develop and deploy scripting: Shell Scripting, Perl/Python, SQL o Diagnose production issues, identify and implement fixes in collaboration with Data Base Administrators (DBAs), system designer, developer, analysts, system administrators, and functional teams. o Resolve technical issues related to the database configuration and performance of the application.

Communicate with software developers and system engineers to address any problem in the database and application technical issue. Implement Role-based access control security on Ellucian Banner.

Perform technical training to staff (this includes all configuration setup necessary to function required business process) along with enduser/technical guide.

Create vendor support ticket for any issues or requirements that need support. o Create incident support ticket and change request for CAB approval along with the solution document.

Work on-call as part of a regular work schedule or off hours when required. o Ability to perform Install, configure, upgrade, patch, clone, backup of Infosilem Classroom Scheduling.

Ability to perform Install, configure, upgrade, patch, clone, backup of CRM Advise.

Ability to perform Install, configure, upgrade, patch, clone, backup of Evision Argos

Required Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in an IT related field.

Minimum 8+ of related experience with applicable certifications.

Oracle Certified Professional (OСР) Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) in reading and writing is required
