ELV Draftsman – CCTV (MOI Compliance)

About the Role:

The ELV Draftsman – CCTV is responsible for preparing detailed CCTV system drawings in compliance with MOI (Ministry of Interior) regulations in Qatar. The role involves design coordination, technical drafting, and submission support for security systems projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare CCTV layout drawings in accordance with MOI requirements and standards.
• Develop schematic diagrams and riser diagrams for CCTV systems (cameras, switches, NVR, storage systems).
• Ensure proper KPOI coverage and adherence to security and surveillance standards.
• Coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to avoid clashes on site.
• Prepare submission drawings (DSA / DIA) and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare and update As-Built drawings after project completion.
• Support engineering team in design modifications and revisions as required.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CCTV drafting.
• Strong knowledge of MOI CCTV regulations in Qatar.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage).
• Experience in DSA / DIA submission drawings.
• Good understanding of CCTV systems (layout design, storage planning, and basic networking concepts).
• Ability to coordinate with project teams and site engineers effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
