ELV Engineer

Job Title: ELV Engineer

Experience: 4–5 Years

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in managing ELV systems and leading teams on-site. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with design, installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems in commercial or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of ELV technicians and sub-engineers on-site.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including:
• CCTV & Surveillance Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Public Address (PA) & Audio Systems
• Fire Alarm & Detection Systems
• Structured Cabling (Data & Voice Networks)
• Building Management Systems (BMS) interface (if applicable)
• Intercom & Communication Systems
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors for project requirements and deliverables.
• Review and approve ELV drawings, BOQs, and material submittals.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, progress, and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update management on project status.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site promptly.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians to enhance team performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in ELV systems, with hands-on site exposure.
• Proven experience in managing a small to medium team.
• Strong knowledge of ELV standards, codes, and best practices.
• Familiarity with project documentation, drawings, and material specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with large-scale commercial, hospitality, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of integration with BMS or smart building systems.
• Certification in ELV systems or relevant training programs.
