Project Engineer - ELV Systems (Parking Management)

Position Summary

The Project Engineer for ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems will be a pivotal role, responsible for the end-to-end management of advanced Parking Management solutions. This includes automated ticketing, guidance systems, access control, revenue management, and integrated surveillance. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, presales acumen, and exceptional client-facing skills to ensure project delivery from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Engineering:

• Lead the planning, execution, and final handover of complex ELV projects within the Parking Management domain.
• Develop detailed project plans, scope of work, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage all technical aspects of ELV systems, including but not limited to:
• Parking Guidance & Information Systems (PGIS)
• Automated Parking Systems
• Integration with CCTV, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition), and Fire Alarm systems.
• Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure all work complies with local UAE regulations, client specifications, and international quality standards.

2. Presales & Technical Consultation:

• Act as a key technical resource during the presales phase.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to understand client needs and develop tailored technical proposals.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to clients and consultants.
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical submittals, and method statements.

3. Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their requirements and managing expectations effectively.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Proactively address and resolve client concerns, providing regular project updates and reports.

4. Team Leadership & Coordination:

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of engineers and technicians.
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration.

Mandatory Requirements

• UAE Driving License: Must possess a valid UAE driving license and be willing to travel to various project sites across the UAE.
• Immediate Availability: Must be available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
• Presales Experience: Proven track record in a presales or technical consultancy role, with the ability to develop winning proposals and engage clients technically.
• Client-Facing & Presentable: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must be professional, articulate, and presentable, with the ability to confidently represent the company to high-level clients.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in engineering and project management of ELV systems, with a strong focus on Parking Management Systems and ITS.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, including ANPR, access control, networking, solar power systems and system integration.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and AutoCAD.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
