Project Engineer (ELV Systems)
We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Project Engineer specializing in Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of ELV projects, with a heavy emphasis on high-level testing, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities :

Project Supervision:
Coordinate with site technicians and subcontractors to ensure installation quality and adherence to project timelines.

System Testing & Commissioning:
Lead the site-wide commissioning of integrated ELV systems, ensuring all hardware and software components meet project specifications and international standards.

Technical Troubleshooting
: Identify and resolve complex technical issues within system architectures.

Documentation:
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Method Statements, Commissioning Reports, O&M Manuals, and AsBuilt drawings.

Client Management:
Act as the technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders during the handover process.
Technical Expertise Required
The successful candidate must demonstrate hands-on experience in the following systems:

CCTV:
Configuration of IP cameras, NVR/VMS platforms.

Access Control:
Installation and programming of controllers, card readers, and biometric systems.

Fire Alarm Systems:
Testing of addressable panels, detectors, and integration with other life safety systems.

Public Address (PA) & BGM:
Calibration of amplifiers, zone controllers, and speaker circuits.

Gate & Barriers:
Setup and integration of boom barriers, sliding gates, Speed Gates, Turnstiles and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems.
Candidate Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or 3 Years Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of proven gulf experience specifically in ELV project execution and commissioning.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and updating shop drawings. Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and cabling standards (Fiber, Cat6).

Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership abilities, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Language:
Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
