ELV Technician

The Job

• Responsible for installation, programming, testing and commissioning of IPCCTV, Access control, fire alarm, Intrusion detection, PIDS, MIDS, all kinds of ELV systems and Fire safety system (firefighting and fire suppression) in compliance with design specification, technical code and safe code.
• Responsible for installation of Network infrastructure of all kinds of systems (structural cabling)
• Responsible for making as build diagrams / drawings as and when required (AutoCAD format or windows Visio)
• Responsible for conducting site surveys as and when required.
• Rectify complicated technical issues at site related to system integration and software related projects.
• Rectify complicated technical issues at site related to system integration and software related projects.
• Resolve all kinds of technical issues related to the ELV industry.
• Provide daily progress reports to superior / line manager about the site's related issues and work progress at site in a timely manner.
• Develop good relationships with clients and employees.
• Handles customer complaints in timely manner
• Any other work assigned by the superior from time to time.
• Enthusiastic in learning new technologies and keep updates of latest market trends

Ideal Candidate

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, I.T. or equivalent.
• Should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Technician for a Security Installation, preferably 3 years in project installation.
• Possess reasonable written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with others in an effective manner.
• Possess appropriate computer skill (Auto CAD/ Visio)
