1. Installation & Commissioning
- Pull, route, and manage cables for various ELV systems (Cat6, Fiber Optic, Coaxial, Alarm cables).
- Install and mount devices such as CCTV cameras, card readers, smoke detectors, speakers, and wireless access points.
- Terminate and splice cables in patch panels, field outlets, and control panels.
- Assist in the final programming and commissioning of systems to ensure they are fully operational.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) on existing ELV infrastructure.
- Diagnose and repair faults in systems like Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Fire Alarms, and BMS (Building Management Systems).
- Replace defective hardware (batteries, sensors, controllers) and update firmware where required.
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls and resolve technical issues promptly.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and floor plans.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, cable test results, and inventory usage.
- Ensure all work complies with local safety regulations and international standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, ISO).

- Security: CCTV (IP & Analog), Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection.
- Safety: Fire Alarm Systems (Addressable & Conventional), Public Address & Voice Evacuation (PA/VA).
- Networking: Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber), Data Network Switches, Wi-Fi.
- Automation: Building Management Systems (BMS), Intercoms, Audio/Visual (AV) systems.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related trade certification.
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience as an ELV Technician or in a similar low-voltage role.
