ELV/IT Operations Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive ELV / IT Operations Engineer to manage, operate, and maintain ELV systems and IT infrastructure across our projects and facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth system operations, timely troubleshooting, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, PA Systems, Intercom, SMATV, and BMS interfaces
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure such as servers, switches, firewalls, routers, and network devices
• Perform routine system checks, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis
• Troubleshoot and resolve ELV and IT-related issues efficiently
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for system upgrades and repairs
• Ensure system security, data backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place
• Prepare technical reports, system documentation, and maintenance logs
• Support new project implementations, testing, and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in ELV systems and IT operations (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Networking, and Structured Cabling
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Facilities Management operations
• Experience with enterprise networking and cybersecurity basics
• Vendor certifications (Cisco, Hikvision, Honeywell, etc.) are a plus
