This role is not for someone who simply understands email marketing.
It is designed for a specialist who fully lives the discipline, someone who thinks in flows, anticipates customer segments, and naturally gravitates toward subject line experimentation and performance optimization.

We are seeking a dedicated Email Marketing Specialist with deep lifecycle marketing expertise, particularly within eCommerce and DTC environments. You will own the email channel end-to-end for one or more brands, driving revenue, retention, and customer engagement through strategic automation and high-performing campaigns. From concept through execution and analysis, you will be accountable for every send, every metric, and every key performance outcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full-funnel email marketing across DTC/eCommerce brands and select client accounts
  • Architect, execute, and refine automated lifecycle flows (welcome, post-purchase, win-back, cart recovery, upsell, etc.)
  • Build and manage promotional calendars for launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
  • Write high-impact subject lines, preview text, and conversion-focused email copy
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure strong visual communication and clear CTAs
  • Manage segmentation strategies, list growth, and list hygiene best practices
  • Conduct continuous A/B testing across creative, timing, messaging, and frequency
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including OR, CTR, CVR, RPE, and unsubscribe rate
  • Maintain industry-leading deliverability practices, including suppression logic, warming, and authentication protocols
  • Stay current with platform updates and industry trends across Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and other ESPs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on email marketing experience
  • Demonstrated success in DTC or eCommerce lifecycle marketing
  • Expert proficiency with Klaviyo or comparable ESPs
  • Strong understanding of flow logic, segmentation, and behavioral triggers
  • Proven ability to write strategic, compelling copy that converts
  • Advanced analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • Experience managing multiple brands and/or large subscriber lists
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed work style
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm EST
