Embedded Digital Hardware Design and Development-Embedded Firmware

Location: Hyderabad

Desired Competencies

1. Experienced in writing formal documentation such as System Requirements Specification, System Architecture Specifications, Software Requirements Specification, Software Design Specification, etc

2. Experienced with formal SW development, using configuration and build management tool like TFS requirements traceability tool (such as DOORS, etc.),

3. Experienced SW analysis tools (such as Klocwork, QA/C), SW unit test tool (such as VectorCAST, etc.).

4. Experienced in Functional Safety standard IEC 61508

5. Experienced with ARM and/or PowerPC micro-processor.

6. Strong Embedded C

7. Experienced with HW/SW integration, using tools such as scopes, logic analyzers, etc.

8. Experienced with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS232/RS485, Modbus, OPC, Fieldbus, HART, etc.

9. Experienced in device driver development for several of interface types: I2C, USB, SPI, UART, JTAG, GPIO, PCIE, etc.

10. Experienced and/or knowledge of HW – DAC, ADC, etc.

11. Experience with hardware bring-up and troubleshooting.
