Experience

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 36 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 4 years.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed On Unit

Types of Patients on Unit: Common diagnosis / Types of patients: They are a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and also designated to treat pediatric emergencies. Stroke, Stemi’s, some traumas, 10-12% of their patient population is pediatrics

Unit/Facility Details: # beds/trauma bays: 15 beds with 6 chair waiting.

patients per day: 120-130 patients per day

Shift & Scheduling: EOW

Holidays: work in as needed

Floating Requirements: First to Float

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
