Emergency physician

Job Summary

Vikram Multispecialty Hospital is seeking a qualified and dedicated Emergency Physician to provide immediate medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. The role requires rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and coordination with specialty departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt evaluation and treatment of emergency and trauma patients
• Perform triage, diagnosis, and emergency medical procedures
• Stabilize critically ill or injured patients
• Manage cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma emergencies
• Coordinate with consultants, surgeons, nurses, and support staff
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, ECGs, and lab investigations
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care and medical records
• Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with patients and attendants regarding treatment plans
• Participate in emergency drills and continuous medical education

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS with MD / DNB / Diploma in Emergency Medicine
• Valid Medical Council registration
• Freshers or experienced candidates may apply
• Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
• Strong clinical, decision-making, and communication skills
