Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage unemployment claims and communication with state agencies.
- Administer and track workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
- Review, guide, and support corrective action and disciplinary processes in alignment with company policy.
- Facilitate and document employee terminations professionally and compliantly.
- Investigate and respond to employee grievances with fairness and discretion.
- Manage and support employee benefits administration (enrollment, changes, troubleshooting).
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including Employee of the Month, birthdays, and other recognition programs.
- Partner with leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies and procedures.
- Assist with additional HR duties as needed, including policy implementation, process improvements, and special projects to support the HR department.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, change management, and performance management practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a related field (healthcare experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- SHRM Certified (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
