Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Specialist – Employee Relations to join our HR team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE labor law, employee engagement, and conflict resolution. This role is critical in fostering a healthy work environment, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee well-being.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on UAE labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution in a timely, fair, and confidential manner.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations cases and ensure all records are kept in line with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Support performance management processes, including coaching managers on performance discussions and improvement plans.
  • Liaise with legal advisors and government authorities as needed regarding labor issues, disputes, and compliance matters.
  • Participate in HR audits and ensure ER-related compliance standards are met.
  • Provide regular reporting and analytics on employee relations metrics, trends, and risks to HR leadership.
  • Handle Residency and Insurance matters, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company standards.
  • Draft all employee-related official letters, including NOCs, salary certificates, and disciplinary notices.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, enhance employee journeys, and implement process improvements in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of HR experience in the UAE, with a strong focus on Employee Relations.
  • Deep understanding of UAE Labor Law and its practical application in the workplace.
  • Proven experience in managing conflict, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred but not required.
