HR and Payroll Specialist

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Human Resources

  • Manage full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, probation, confirmation, and exit formalities.
  • Coordinate with PRO/government authorities (MOHRE, ICA, GDRFA, TASHEEL, Free Zone) for visa issuance, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Laws in all HR processes and company policies.
  • Maintain employee records (contracts, personal files, leave balances, etc.) accurately.
  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance management.
  • Prepare end-of-service settlements and gratuity as per UAE Labour Law.

Payroll

  • Collect and verify monthly timesheets, overtime, and attendance data.
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time through WPS (Wage Protection System).
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to payroll.
  • Maintain payroll records, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Handle leave salary, final settlements, and other employee payments.
  • Assist in payroll audits and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 4 years HR & Payroll experience in UAE.
  • Prior experience in construction/contracting industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Laws and WPS payroll system.
  • Familiarity with HRMS/payroll software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
