Compensation

$45,000.00 to Negotiable Annual

  • Reviews and analyzes posting requests
  • Analyzes and proposes recommendations for the design and evaluation of new/modified employment programs
  • Assists in monitoring and providing information about market data and average salaries to ensure the university attracts competitive candidate pools
  • Collaborates with management and HR staff to create and update job descriptions
  • Assist departments by providing staffing strategy recommendations including recruitment plans to enhance candidate pools, improve time to fill, increase organizational efficiency and related.
  • Coordinates recruitment for all positions for specified areas of University; tracks, reviews, finalizes, and grants approval of recruitment requests and recruitment plans for employees. This includes full-time staff/faculty, students, adjuncts, and OPS positions.
  • Serves as subject matter expert to specified departments regarding recruiting guidelines including evaluation of equal opportunity and access.
  • Review employment requests for accuracy and compliance; approves postings and assists with completion and processing of the request. Makes posting determinations as appropriate.
  • Review applicants and ensure the appropriate identification of qualified applicants (internal applicants, Vets, etc.).
  • Reviews applications for conflict of interest and/or employment of relatives and makes a determination.
  • Assist with facilitating HR’s portion of Welcome to the Nest.
  • Develops, maintains, and analyzes employment reports (background checks, time to fill positions etc.,). Reviews all background screenings and makes appropriate determinations.
  • Functional in all recruitment aspects of the HRIS system.
  • Serve as backup to other Employment Coordinators.
  • May assist with payroll paperwork processing for new employees – ensures proper documents are received and complete.
  • May assist with training new coordinators in the areas of employment.
  • Additional hours may be required during peak periods.
  • During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job-related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
