Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. Duties

  • Manage and oversee all phases of litigation cases, from initial investigation through trial and resolution.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
  • Negotiate settlements effectively with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, mediations, and arbitrations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and provide clear guidance on legal options and potential risks.
  • Maintain meticulous records of case files, correspondence, research notes, and court documents to ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Stay current on evolving laws and regulations relevant to multiple practice areas to provide innovative legal solutions.
  • Utilize legal research platforms like Westlaw or LexisNexis efficiently to gather pertinent information for case development.
  • Support the firm’s administrative functions by managing deadlines, billing hours accurately, and contributing to a collaborative office environment.

Requirements : GEORGIA BAR ADMISSIONS REQUIRED

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for comprehensive legal analysis.
  • Exceptional writing skills demonstrated through clear drafting of pleadings, briefs, memos, and other legal documents.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities combined with strategic thinking to resolve disputes effectively outside of court when appropriate.
  • Familiarity with courtroom procedures and experience representing clients in judicial proceedings.
  • Legal administrative experience including managing case files efficiently and adhering to deadlines rigorously.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions or practice areas is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to interpret complex legal issues swiftly and accurately.
