Reporting to the EM&S Middle East Head, the Turkey Supply Chain Manager provides strategic leadership over the External Manufacturing & Supply perimeter at Turkey level. This role owns the end-to-end integration, stabilization, and performance of a newly created external manufacturing activity, leading the operational transformation, governance model, and team development required to ensure long-term business continuity and growth.
Main Responsibilities
Acting as the strategic leader for the Turkey External Manufacturing & Supply perimeter, the EM&S Supply Chain Manager owns the end-to-end performance, integration, and operational build-up of Turkey EM&S activity. He ensures product availability, operational excellence, and compliance while leading cross-functional alignment with markets, CMOs, and internal stakeholders.

Strategic leadership of the New External Manufacturing Activity

Lead the full integration and setup of the new External Manufacturing Activity in Turkey, including governance model with CMO, processes, performance, master data structure, and operational flows.

Act as the point of accountability for all strategic and operational decisions to ensure supply continuity, hyper-care phase, product availability, inventory valuation, and CMO performance.

Provide strategic leadership and governance between markets, CMOs, partners, and internal stakeholders (EM&S, Finance, Quality, Regulatory…) to secure supply performance, mitigate risks, and support the regional expansion roadmap.

Define and implement the EM&S Turkey Supply Chain roadmap, ensuring compliance and alignment with global strategy.

Lead risk management, including capacity risks, quality constraints, raw material shortages, and artwork readiness.

Negotiate and steer CMO SLAs and contractual commitments, ensuring strong collaboration with the Key Account function to achieve CSL, cost, and agility targets.

Prepare and lead MSA performance reviews with CMOs

Steer the S&OP process for EM&S Turkey perimeter to ensure aligned demand, supply, and capacity scenarios.

Lead IBP governance for Turkey, challenging assumptions, aligning volumes (C1/C2/Budget/LRP) and presenting scenarios and trade-offs to Senior Leadership Team while contributing to budget cycles and strategic planning exercises in collaboration with Finance and Industrial Affairs.

Lead integration projects, including the onboarding of new activities, and external manufacturing partners.

Demand Management & Planning Excellence

Own the demand validation process, challenging assumptions while ensuring alignment with manufacturing capabilities and business priorities.

Develop robust short- and long-term product requirement plans for EM&S Turkey perimeter.

Ensure alignment of volumes with budget cycles, supply parameters, stock policy, and capacity assumptions.

Lead OOS diagnosis, projections, and mitigation planning to secure service level performance.

Evaluate and escalate major risks to the regional leadership when needed.

Lead and implement improvement strategies to optimize production flow and inventory consumption.

Operations & Supply Performance Management

Lead and develop Turkey Supply Chain team, ensuring capability building, clear accountability, and high-performance culture.

Deploy and monitor OTIF, CSL, CRI, SLA and inventory KPIs with a structured governance and escalation model.

Lead operations review meetings with CMOs and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency, and effective decision-making.

Supervise logistics flows, warehouse operations, toll item management, and master data accuracy in SAP/Kinaxis.

Oversee artwork changes, documentation readiness, and waste minimization.

Ensure compliance with MSA contractual clauses, Quality requirements, HSE standards, and internal control frameworks.

Optimize supply chain activities by managing obsolescence risks, stock movements, and process efficiency improvements.

Develop a continuous improvement culture, focusing on process simplification, and digital enablement.

About You
-
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, Pharmacy, Chemical Technology, Engineering, Management, or Project Management in healthcare (Supply Chain and Industrial Affairs), or another Master’s degree.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience with strong knowledge of processes and cross-functional team leadership in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in manufacturing is an advantage
