About the job
Reporting to the EM&S Middle East Regional Supply Chain Manager, the Key Accounts Manager operates within the External Manufacturing & Supply perimeter for KSA, Turkey, South Africa, and Egypt. This role supports the achievement of business objectives across the EM&S Regional perimeter and ensures full adherence to HSE requirements and internal control standards.
Main responsibilities:
Acting as the strategic link between markets, external manufacturers, and internal stakeholders, the EM&S Key Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships across the region. The role supports the implementation of innovative solutions and manages key contract processes including compliance, updates, and price reviews to enhance collaboration and ensure effective partnership management.
Key Account Management:
Build and develop CMO management plans to ensure strong collaboration and secure operational performance
Establish and maintain close relationships with key partners in External Manufacturing region, including external Manufacturers and third parties
Ensure consistent CMO governance, performance standards, and ways of working across all countries within the regional perimeter.
Identify operational gaps and work cross-functionally to implement solutions to ensure supply reliability and stakeholder alignment
Manage and review contracts with CMOs across the region, ensuring compliance, performance commitments, and alignment with business priorities
Track and implement price revisions, monitor Guaranteed Added Value (GAV), and ensure compliance with agreed terms to optimize performance
Lead actions that improve transparency, knowledge flow, and collaboration across stakeholders
Prepare monthly review meetings with CMO to ensure a transparent collaboration and aligned decision making
Ensure data accuracy and reliability of MARS data, acting as the key user for the scope
Provide data reporting and analysis for the perimeter to support performance monitoring and KPI tracking
Supply Chain:
1. Demand Management & Planning
Implement processes to optimize production flow and inventory levels.
Ensure reliable market demand and highlight significant changes.
Challenge market demand and develop a detailed understanding of demand drivers.
Plan monthly product requirements at External Manufacturing sites, both short- and long-term.
Prioritize according to capacity constraints and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Maintain an Out-of-Stock (OOS) valuation projection, identify risks, and build mitigation plans.
Achieve OOS targets.

About you
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, Pharmacy, Chemical Technology, Engineering, Management, or Project Management in healthcare (Supply Chain and Industrial Affairs), or another Master’s degree.
Experience:
3 years in key account management, commercial management, or pharma, healthcare, or manufacturing.
3 years of experience in supply chain operations, demand planning, or logistics support is highly desirable.
Experience managing contracts, including pricing, adherence, and vendor/supplier monitoring.
Skills:
Technical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of SAP (desirable)
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical processes
o Expertise in Production Planning and Control (PPC)
o Experience in managing Customer Service Level (CSL) metrics
o Knowledge of Planning Adherence methodologies
o Data analysis & Reporting

o Ability to lead cross-functional teams

Languages:
Fluent English is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
