The EMV Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and testing electro-mechanical vehicle systems. This role combines electrical, electronic, and mechanical expertise to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient vehicle operation, including conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in EV golf carts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance (batteries, brakes, tires, wiring, etc.).
- Replace or repair parts such as batteries, controllers, motors, and wiring harnesses.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools and multi-meters.
- Maintain service records and logs for each cart.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure vehicles comply with safety standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of all tools and equipment.
- Work with vendors or suppliers for replacement parts and technical support.
- Support fleet management by reporting on vehicle condition, usage, and repair needs.
- Occasionally assist with cart delivery, retrieval, or setup for events.
- Prepare Inventory monthly audit report and invoices to the key customer.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and diagnostic tools
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Work is conducted both indoors (workshop) and outdoors (on-course or grounds) or at customer site.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork.
