General Maintenance – Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities remain in safe, working condition
• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems as required
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and structural issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment
• Replace or repair damaged fixtures, appliances, and building components
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records
• Assist with renovations, installations, and facility improvements
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are required
• Perform grounds maintenance such as landscaping, snow removal, and exterior upkeep
• Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste
• Support setup and breakdown for events or facility operations as needed
